Canada Day 2005

I was in Ottawa last weekend to celebrate the founding of the nation (sheesh... that was drab). I've never been... it was pretty cool, though it probably would have been better if I hadn't been with egotistical Torontonians.

Partay is a go!

Bridge
Well... not quite. Due to an extra long breakfast we barely made it into Picton before deciding it was best to turn around to join the crush of cars heading back to T.O.
As such I don't have any skin pics to show... just the back of Alim's car as we are crossing the bridge leading into the sleepy town.
Surely the back of something else, anything else, would have been much better. Ah well.

The Canadian War Museum

Had a chance to visit the two month-old museum while in Ottawa. Spent 3.5 hours there... nowhere near enough. It was beautiful.

Looking down the barrel of a Sherman tank.
